This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on this website, why we use them, and how you can control them.
Your choice
When you first visit this site, we ask whether you're happy for us to use optional analytics cookies. You can accept or decline — both options are equally easy to choose, and declining doesn't affect your ability to use the site, apply for a role, or submit a CV. You can change your mind at any time using the small cookie icon ("Privacy choices") that stays visible in the corner of every page. A choice you make applies from your next page view onward — anything already loaded before you changed your mind can't be recalled.
Strictly necessary — always on
These aren't cookies in the traditional sense and require no consent, because the site can't function without them:
- Your cookie choice itself — stored in your browser's local storage so we don't ask you again on every visit.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — the anti-spam check on our application, CV, and contact forms. Turnstile may set a short-lived token to confirm you're not a bot. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Optional — only with your consent
Lumara Analytics. We use this to understand which pages people visit and how they found this site, so we can improve it. It doesn't use traditional cookies, but it does store a session identifier and referral information in your browser (session storage, cleared when you close your browser) — which is why we ask first. It also records your IP address and general location for the duration of your visit. It's only loaded if you accept.
Always on, but cookieless
Plausible Analytics. We use this alongside Lumara Analytics for overall visit statistics. It's genuinely cookieless — it stores nothing on your device at all, and can't be used to identify you individually or track you across other websites. Because it stores nothing on your device, it runs regardless of your cookie choice above, and isn't something we can meaningfully switch off per visitor.
What we don't do
We don't use advertising or retargeting cookies, and we don't share data with social media or advertising networks for marketing purposes.
